We are Chloe and Cameron, the dynamic duo behind ‘The Handmade & Hire Company Limited’.
As a couple who have been together since 2016, we share a passion for creating unforgettable events. In April 2023, we transformed our dream into reality by establishing our company, fuelled by our love for events and a keen eye for detail.
Our adventure began in 2019 with a vision to design and create personalised gifts. Chloe, with her unique ability to craft something special from nothing, brought dreams to life. However, like many, our plans were paused by the pandemic in 2020. We shifted our focus to full-time work, but the dream never faded.
In 2023, fate led us to Polly, a charming 1980s vintage Photobooth Caravan, which reignited our passion. Polly was the catalyst that launched ‘The Handmade & Hire Company Limited’. From there, we expanded our offerings, learning new skills and adding unique items to our inventory.
At ‘The Handmade & Hire Company’, our mission is simple: to provide top-notch service and high-quality products that are unique and personalised to each customer. We aim to offer affordable options that cater to everyone, ensuring your event is nothing short of spectacular.
We are proud members of BAPIA – The Balloon and Party Industry Alliance, staying up-to-date with industry standards to ensure we are always at the top of our game. While it’s just the two of us, Chloe and Cameron, each of us with complementary skills, we manage everything with passion and dedication.
We love supporting our local community, participating in local events when we can, and donating our services to charity events. Our aim is to share the love and make every occasion special.
Based in Burgess Hill, we cover up to 40 miles and are always looking to expand. Our goal is to become the go-to event hire and party decor company in Sussex. Exciting things are on the horizon, and we can’t wait to help more people enjoy their special occasions.
